Some moments in European projects go beyond coordination and technical updates. They are moments to pause, reflect on progress, and reconnect with the shared purpose behind the work.
During the latest Empower+ online consortium meeting, held on April 8th and led by the project coordinator, GAL Napoca Porolissum, partners came together to review progress and plan the next steps of the project. Despite the distance, the meeting once again highlighted the strength of collaboration and the common goal of empowering young people through meaningful opportunities.
From the very beginning, one message was clear: the Empower+ project is moving forward steadily. Activities are progressing, ideas are taking shape, and the partnership continues to grow stronger through cooperation and mutual support.
At the same time, the discussion reminded everyone that progress also requires consistency. Strong coordination, timely follow-up, and clear communication remain essential to ensure that every activity contributes effectively to the overall project goals.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the agreement to link the upcoming mobility activities in Greece and Italy. This strategic decision will help optimize travel arrangements, reduce costs, and make the project more sustainable—both financially and environmentally.
Partners were also encouraged to review their budgets and communicate any necessary reallocations, particularly to support mobility-related activities. This open and transparent approach reinforces trust within the consortium and ensures that resources are used in the most effective way.
Looking at the current phase of the project, attention was also given to ongoing tasks, especially those related to the development of project outputs. Completing pending documentation and uploading all required evidence on time is not just a formal requirement—it is a crucial step in ensuring quality, accountability, and long-term impact.
Looking ahead, the focus now shifts to the upcoming youth mobility activities, one of the most anticipated parts of the Empower+ project. Partners are currently finalising participant selection, carefully considering availability, language skills, and visa requirements. In parallel, preparations for pre-departure training and the mobility in Romania will play a key role in the coming months.
Finally, the meeting strongly reinforced the importance of communication and dissemination activities. From newsletters and subscriber databases to social media visibility and dissemination reporting, strengthening coordination in this area will be essential to increase the project’s reach and impact.
